Get to know me

Before & After

Hi everyone, my name is Tiffany. I am Dominican, born and raised in New York City. I have decided to start this blog because of all the positive feedback I have gotten when speaking to people about how to get their curly hair healthy again. Growing up I didn’t really understand my hair that well and did not really get much support in that area because growing up in a Dominican household, straight hair was just what was deemed “pelo bueno” or good hair. As I grew older, in high school I was mistreating my hair using flat irons and blow driers on greasy hair and it completely broke my hair down from its original healthy state (refer to the above picture on the left). Since then I have realized that I should be proud of my natural hair and vowed to get my curls back to curling again and most importantly, healthy. Fast forward to around 6 or so years since high school and my curls are in the best shape that they have ever been (picture on the right). In this blog I will share with you all of the tips and tricks I have learned regarding my hair, favorite products and reviews along with skincare tips as well. I hope that you guys can achieve whatever hair care goals you are seeking with the guidance of my content. I can’t wait to share with you what I have learned!
